Nisus files are rich text (a proprietary version of RTF), which Marked
does not handle by default. There are macros you can use in Nisus to
generate Markdown, though. I use one for TidBits, I'd have to ask them
if it's available for public sharing or not.

Brett,
If you could send me the macro or a variation of it or give me some hints I would be grateful.

Brett,
Do you think that a RTF to Markdown service would be a good project? How difficult would that be for you?
Do you have any suggested workflows that could be used for RTF to Markdown?
How about a Macro that could be used for public use?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I've done some RTF -> Markdown scripts, but RTF is messy and
unpredictable. A NWP macro makes more sense, as it has a certain amount
of predictability to it. I'm currently using a proprietary one that I've
been asked not to share, but I can probably come up with a reasonable
facsimile when I get time.

Thanks,
Please let me know when you come up with the NWP macro.
Meanwhile I will try building some macros as well.
I also thought of exporting rtf to HTML and then using one of your service tools or Pandoc to see what I come up with.
