Upgrade from 1.4.3 to Marked2?
I've been using Marked1 -- what's your upgrade path for existing users?

There is no upgrade discount. Marked 2 stands as a new application, Marked 1 still receives full support for those who choose not to purchase the new app.

Wow! this was posted in Oct. ’13, and I’m just now hearing about Marked2 in late Jan. ’14. Worse I purchased Marked 2 days before this post. I feel stupid.

Mark, why do you feel stupid? I apologize for any miscommunication, but because Marked 2 was released outside of the App Store, I can't afford the advertising to get the word out to every single customer, and have no way to contact any current users directly.
I have changed course slightly since this thread began. Users who purchased Marked 1 since the release of Marked 2 can contact me privately and I will dispense a coupon worth the price of Marked 1 as a discount off of Marked 2. Let me know if you're interested in that.
Marked 2 should also be available in the App Store this month, but it will be under the same circumstances: Marked 1 will be discontinued and Marked 2 will require a new purchase.

I get why you moved from the App Store. I try to avoid buying on the App Store, but sometimes it’s the only option.
I just feel stupid, for not doing more research. Normally I would have checked into the app more deeply, and would have noticed that a newer version was coming out. (ironically, it fixes many of the “issues” I have with v1, which only added to my frustration), and to find out 5 months later; much of that time was spent trying to find a way to make the app work the way I wanted it to (again, those were addressed in v2).
Thanks for the response.
I would definitely be interested in the coupon offer.
