Hi,

The standard documentation to MMD for splitted files describe, only to create an index file with all single MMD-files inside. For the transformation to HTML or LaTeX it is necessary to use the Perl script mmd_merge.pl to merge all single files into one single MMD-file, before you can start.

Marked support a multi-file process too, but your index file has another background. Insteat to create a single raw index-file with all necessary files inside, Marked want a structured MMD-index-file with the links to the single files.

The effect is, a structured MMD-index-file for Marked is not compatible for multimarkdown, because i have no chance to use the Perl script to merge all files to one file, before i can use multimarkdown for the output to HTML or LaTeX.

The idea to handle an index file for all single documents is great, but why a different way to the multimarkdown standard?

Thank you and

best regards

Add #merge to the first line of an mmd_merge file.
