2 styles, one for the original text

Hi,
What I would appreciate a lot with this app is the ff:

Let's say I have some original text, which I have to edit in such a way that I want to shorten some sections and quote some others. But - while editing - I want to see the original text in a specific style, even while editing it, and my own new text in another, so as to distinguish the two. Is this possible to accomplish?

You'd need two separate files, but if you save the original copy to a new file, open previews for both and set styles on them, they would be maintained while you work in the other file.
