HTML output includes a pretty long script at the end

<script>var hljs=new function(){function m(p){return p.replace(/&/gm,"&amp;").replace(/</gm,"&lt;")}…

What is it for?

    It's the syntax highlighter, which is purely javascript loaded after the page is rendered. If you turn off syntax highlighting in preferences, it won't output it.
