I am a new user of Marked 2 on a M1 Max MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.3.2 and have tried (and failed) to convert an imported .md file created by Google Gemini into properly formatted pdf (The .md file is attached). The .md file, a work in progress on a mathematical topic, should include LaTex information. I tried dragging the .md file from the Finder to the Marked 2 icon in the dock but this displayed text that looks like HTML code rather than the properly formatted text and equations:

\outl0\strokewidth0 \strokec2 \uc0舲 \f1\fs24 E[T{walking_cart_1}] \approx \frac{\sum{y=1}^{W} \sum{x=1}^{L} [|y - y{cart}| \cdot d_i + |L - x| \cdot d_s] \cdot (1-p)p{(y-1)L+(x-1)}}{\sum_{y=1}{W} \sum{x=1}^{L} (1-p)p^{(y–1)L+(x–1)} \cdot v_w} \f3\fs26 \

I would appreciate any guidance you are able to offer to help me convert my .md documents into pdf files that represent the correct formatting of text and math. Thank you.

To display math in Marked, you must use MathJax or Katex formatting.

Your document is LaTeX (or maybe RTF?), not Markdown. I'm not sure what you're expecting Marked to do with it. You might have luck with a Custom Processor, but there's no built-in way to read such a document.
