I don't know if this is something others have tried or whether allowing an API like Mermaid's to be involved in the rendering step is a possibility but since I can see there are some capabilities to change the rendering workflow I figured I ask rather than just stay in my state of "want". :)

kentag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/490615722021-02-28T17:56:09Z2021-02-28T17:56:09ZRendering Mermaid

whoops, choose the wrong image to illustrate Mermaid's magic

kentag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/490615722021-03-01T14:00:10Z2021-03-01T14:00:10ZRendering Mermaid

If you do a search for mermaid on these forums, you'll find a few
discussions like this one:

The issue now is that Marked no longer does a full refresh when
updating, so changes to the diagram are not re-rendered when the file
changes. I'm working on adding a hook that external scripts can use to
trigger a re-render, but it's not available yet. So if you implement
something like a raw file include to import the script, it will function
on first load, but will require a manual ⌘R to render again after file
change.

any update about this?
i've downloaded Marked 2 especially to render big diagrams side by side.
it's annoying to manual refresh because of no rendering.
also there is no an "force auto refresh" option...

Thanks

wlj
