Your syntax above renders perfectly for me.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/voxb9lniuysze2t/Screenshot%202014-11-09%2...

And here's the rendering:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ezps8qa12kw0fgv/Screenshot%202014-11-09%2...

If I switch to Discount, the tables and footnotes stop
rendering. Switch back to Multi-Markdown and everything renders
except for the definition lists.

Is there any meta-data I need to include in the file, or does
the extension have to be something special (like .mmd)? Can't
understand why other MMD syntax renders, but not this.

Paul Umberstag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/352244032014-11-09T20:37:28Z2014-11-09T20:37:28ZDefinition List Not Rendering

Oh, and here's the test file I'm trying to render.

Paul Umberstag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/352244032014-11-09T20:59:29Z2014-11-09T20:59:29ZDefinition List Not Rendering

No special metadata or extensions needed, it's part of the
default MMD spec. Here's what I get with your file and
settings:

You don't have any kind of custom preprocessor or processor set
up under the Advanced tab, do you?

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/352244032014-11-09T21:38:29Z2014-11-09T21:38:29ZDefinition List Not Rendering

Nope, nothing custom set up. I've tweaked a couple of settings,
but nothing special. I just tried deleting the two plist files I
found that seemed to relate to Marked and running the app again,
but same result.

Are there any logs I can check for errors? Is there anything
else I can delete/recreate? Uninstall & reinstall?

Can't understand why only definition lists don't render while
other MMD stuff does, or for that matter why it works for you and
not me. Seems really weird.

Paul Umberstag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/352244032014-11-09T21:49:04Z2014-11-09T21:49:04ZDefinition List Not Rendering

I can't either. I just tried every combination of settings to
see if I
could get DLs to not render, but with no luck. A reinstall
won't do
much, but you might delete the entire
~/Library/Containers/com.brettterpstra.marked2 folder and run
again...

without changing anything definition lists ... still don't
render:

Have you played with any of the Processor settings to see if
anything might be causing issue?

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/352244032014-12-05T21:23:25Z2014-12-05T21:23:25ZDefinition List Not Rendering

Interesting. Turning OFF "Retain line breaks in paragraphs"
causes the markdown DL to render correctly. Turning it back ON
causes the problem.

Sepp, can you confirm?

Paul Umberstag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/352244032014-12-21T20:09:17Z2014-12-21T20:09:17ZDefinition List Not Rendering

I had the exact same issue as Paul and unchecking "Retain line
breaks in paragraphs" fixed it for me as well. 10.10.1, Marked 2
from app store 2.4.7 (866).

Jason White
