More crashes
Hi there
I get again and again crashes from Marked. I let it stay open - and then after hours or days I get a crash report like the one attached.
If I can do anything helping to fix this, please let me know.

Yes, known issue now. Should be fixed in the next release.

Hi Brett
I delved a bit deeper. The custom processor seems to be the problem: in the DiagnosticReports directory is a timely crash report from pandoc invoked by Marked (see attached). It says
Dyld Error Message:
Library not loaded: /usr/local/lib/libgmp.10.dylib
Referenced from: /usr/local/bin/pandoc
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
/usr/local/lib/libgmp.10.dylib: open() failed with errno=1
Why this? When I run pandoc from the command line it works fine. Permission problems again? I tried to drag all involved folders (/usr/local and /Users/bridge/bin/) to the Marked app, but this did not better it.
But it worked all fine a few weeks ago…
Any tip how I can get pandoc as a custom processor working agin?
Many thanks, Leo

Yes, probably permission problems. You could try dragging the entire
hard drive onto Marked and see what happens. The next version has a
somewhat secret button that will accomplish the same thing more easily.

Thanks Brett.
Will try this. Two questions about the dragging to increase Marked’s permissions:
* Should the dragging happen while Marked is running or when it is not running?
* Before the dragging do I have to re-install Marked?
Also do you have any ETA on the next version?
Many thanks, Leo

While it's running, and no reinstallation should be needed at all. The
next version is in review, so I can only guess that it might make it
through in the next week.
