editor? Could you try that, then also test with a different file
saved on your Desktop and opened in Marked/TM2?</p>

registering the update (change time updates fine)</p>

cause for this is update notifications failing at the system level.
This can be for various reasons, but a permissions repair or an OS
update often does the trick.</p>

shouldn't be the issue. Marked no longer depends on Spotlight for
primary file watching, so that's not it either. Has it ever
functioned for you?</p>
