This function is not working for me, and I can't tell if it's a bug or I'm doing something wrong. In preferences I turned on enable custom processor, and my path looks okay:

/Applications/Byword.app

But I select File->Open in Editor, or Command-E in vain, absolutely nothing happens. Is it a bug,or my mistake?

Custom processor is entirely different than external editor. Open Window preferences and click the button next to the Open in Editor label and choose Byword from the open dialog.

Oh, and be sure to turn off your Custom Processor, Byword will not work for that.

Thanks - this is somewhat clear but also confusing:

Editor and Custom Processor are different ...
Byword can be used as an editor but not as a processor
Can a Custom Processor be named while an Editor is also identified? Or do they conflict?

    Thanks,
