Hello. I recently started playing with your app marked. The way I am
using it is to show me a quick preview of a plain text document saved
as .html in UTF8 format on my desktop. I am teaching myself html, and
this is a quick preview. I have been getting this fail screen
sometimes. Do you know why? I have a screenshot. Also, the "marked
support" button on the fail screen in the app does not link to
anything. It's dead for me. Thanks let me know if you need that
screenshot.

    Thanks for contacting me here.

Last things first, the current Support button should open your default email client, but depending on your setup may have issues. The next version will go straight to this support site.

Regarding the error screen, do you have "Process HTML" turned on in the preferences? The title of the option is a little misleading, I need to reword that; you really want that turned off so that the Markdown processor doesn't attempt to handle the HTML as Markdown.

Beyond that, you may also want to turn off "Strip MMD Metadata" and "Remove YAML Headers" as well. Let me know if that helps.
