using \left( problem

Hi, everyone.

$$ \left( \frac{a+b}{c+d} \right) $$ renders in Marked2 fine,

but $$ \left( \frac{a^2}{c^3} \right) $$ does not (for me, anyway).
(screenshot attached)

However, if I put the same two lines into VS Code, it renders perfectly.
(2nd screenshot).

Is this a bug in Marked2?
