Footnote display issue

// Please enter a detailed description of the issue // Description of the issue: When the area of a file that has a footnote is marked in the preview window as change the footnote display that shows a popup at the bottom of the window doesn’t work. The rest of the footnotes display correctly.

    I'm so sorry my support queue got shuffled around and I missed a bunch of requests. So here I am a year later, replying and hoping you're still around.

    Looks like there's an issue with the placement of the edit marker — that should always be in the sidebar, not connected to the footnote marker. I'll need to explore why that's happening, adding it to my list.

    Sorry again for the horrible customer support. I need to switch forum software, Tender is not doing the trick for me anymore.

    Can you still replicate this issue on the current version of Marked? I can't seem to get the edit marker to show up inside a footnote marker the way shown in your screenshot.
