marked exits on launch
been using for many years; never had a problem. upgraded to 2.6.22 the other day, thereupon app refuses to launch.
1. reverted to older version, same problem
2. checked quarantine status, no help
3. tried trashing app, but Hazel didn't do it's usual thing and offer to trash all associated files
4. checked system.log and found this:
Jan 26 12:40:35 deskART com.apple.xpc.launchd1: Service exited due to SIGPIPE | sent by Marked 2[3180]
Jan 26 12:41:44 deskART com.apple.xpc.launchd[1]: Coalition Cache Hit: app [3563]
Jan 26 12:41:45 deskART com.apple.xpc.launchd1: Service exited due to SIGPIPE | sent by Marked 2[3202]
can you help?

Do you have a custom processor running?
Thanks,
Brett

I think I did — started to install Pandoc this way, may not have finished. How do I undo that when I can't get it to launch?

If that's what's causing the crash, it's happening because it's trying
to open a document on launch (restoring something you had open). To open
the app "fresh" without loading any documents, open terminal and run the
following:
open -F -a "Marked 2"
Let me know if that at least gets you to a point where you can open
Preferences and check on the custom processor.
Thanks,
Brett

OK, that allowed me to re-launch the app.
I'll fiddle with the custom processor later.
Thanks so much for giving me your time, and so promptly at that.
