I can only see the preview window?????

I open files and only see the preview. If I make a new file I get a blank preview only? What is missing here?????

    Marked is a previewer. What exactly are you expecting it to do?

    My mistake it’s been a while since I was using a Mac more than Windows a lot and I was thinking it was a full markdown editor. Now I’m one of those guys on the Internet :-)
