I would be curious what the Markdown export of iThoughts showed you.

I moved the node around in iThoughts, but nothing changed in Marked. I even created a new itmz file, with only a subset of the original mind map. Nothing. I exported from iThoughs as markdown, and the table was recognized. I noted now that the same happened when I pasted the table on this topic.

jmbenedettotag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/560304722022-10-11T16:57:32Z2022-10-11T16:57:32ZTable not rendering at all

Playing with the test file I'm not sure how this ever worked for you. The Marked/iThoughts integration handles multi-line nodes by indenting them as paragraphs, which will probably always break a table. You can, however, add the table as a note on the node and it should render for you. You can also add a line in the node before the table followed by an empty line (ctrl-return) and then the table will render. The problem exists when the table breaks across the first line and the following lines.

I couldn’t make it work with the empty lines, but the note solution worked for me. Thanks a lot!

jmbenedetto
