<ol>
<li>Make sure there's a blank line around the
<div>tags<br></div>
</li>
<li>Use the MultiMarkdown processor (Preferences->Processor)<br></li>
<li>Enable "Process Markdown inside of HTML" in Preferences->Processor</li>

Easily worked around by using anchors instead of reference links:</p>
