You can save the preview window as Markdown and then update that file as much as needed. Can you detail the situation in which it would be more convenient to repeatedly update the clipboard than to work with an actual file, just so I understand the request better?</p>

<p>For now, the clipboard approach gives me a quick way to generate a table of contents and export the file as PDF or DOCX.</p>
