Unable to install update

Trying to install the latest version through Self Update. After download, clicking “Install” button it immediately shows error

As noted in the release notes, your version of Marked has a bug in the auto-updater that requires that you download directly from the website for this update. Future updates will work automatically once you do.
Download the "free trial" from https://marked2app.com and overwrite the current version of Marked 2.

My apologies for not reading the release notes, but I must say, it is hard to read (I have vision issues, making this very hard to read)
As you can see, I run in “dark” mode, maybe this makes the formatted release notes harder to read. If this is something you can change for the future, it would be appreciated.
I will download the “trial” version to get the update.
