PDFs referenced in markdown are out of focus in generated (paginated) PDF

    Do you mean embedded with image tags? PDFs do not embed well in PDFs, for the purposes of images you'll get much better results with PNG or JPG files.

    I used to allow high quality image export, which fixed this, but it also created 80+ MB PDFs that nobody would want to deal with.
