If I outcomment text at the very beginning of a file, e.g.

, it will still show in the preview that Marked 2 creates. Normally the preview will not show outcommented text. Is this a bug or intentional? And can the behaviour be switched off?

thetzgertag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/471302102019-03-30T12:36:45Z2019-03-30T12:36:45ZCommented text at the very beginning of a text file shows

Appears to be a bug. Likely something to do with the way I allow multimarkdown metadata to be commented at the beginning of a file, but I'll need to look into it. It doesn't happen if the Preferences->Processor is set to Discount.

You can avoid it by simply putting a blank line in the first line of the document for now, though.

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/471302102019-03-30T12:57:30Z2019-03-30T12:57:30ZCommented text at the very beginning of a text file shows

Thanks, I appreciate the quick reply! I'm going to use Discount for now and will switch back to MMD as soon as the bug is fixed.

thetzgertag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/471302102019-04-16T20:37:02Z2019-04-16T20:37:02ZCommented text at the very beginning of a text file shows

FYI, I have this fixed up for the next update. Not sure when it will be ready for release, but probably within a couple weeks. Closing this for now.

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/471302102019-04-17T19:07:39Z2019-04-17T19:07:39ZCommented text at the very beginning of a text file shows

Hi Brett!
