Now I find that this version is not capable of previewing notes in Bear. Someone else had this problem & fixed it by downloading your own store version of Marked 2; he says he was then able to ask you to somehow finagle the App Store license into covering your store version so he didn't have to buy Marked 2 twice. See thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/bearapp/comments/9lfbih/problem_exporting_...

I'd like to try this - but I can't even get the demo download of Marked 2 to run. It says I have 7 days left on trial but the only active button is to buy the app - the demo button is grayed out - app crashes when I try & click the button anyway.

I am running Sierra on a 2010 MacBook Pro, if that matters. I have cleaned out caches for App Store version of Marked 2 but really don't want to have to kill my prefs files also in an attempt just to get things to work. At the moment it feels like the "kingdom lost for want of a horse," etc. - chain of small bad events adding up.

Randolph A Burgesstag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/466383832018-12-09T07:11:03Z2018-12-09T07:11:05ZCan't run demo download of your store version to see if it's worth replacing the App Store version with

Addendum - now i find that if I avoid opening Marked 2 directly, but instead right-click on a markdown file (e.g. "somethingsomething.md"), I can choose Marked 2 from the list of apps & open the file . . . and it doesn't crash. By this means I have been able to verify that yes, this version can preview markdown notes within the Bear app.

So are you able to finagle my App store registration to cover the registration for this version (obtained directly from your site) as well? Hopefully I could then find a way to enter that into the app w/out it crashing . . .

Randolph A Burgesstag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/466383832018-12-09T14:51:12Z2018-12-09T14:51:12ZCan't run demo download of your store version to see if it's worth replacing the App Store version with

I've sent a crossgrade license to the email address associated with your account here. Using the Buy button in the demo popup should allow you to register. Let me know if you still have issues.

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/466383832018-12-10T08:32:20Z2018-12-10T08:32:20ZCan't run demo download of your store version to see if it's worth replacing the App Store version with

That did the trick. Thanks for being so quick to help!
