    Hi Michelle,

That's very odd, there's no condition set that would ever disable that
option. What happens if you hit the shortcut, ⌘S, directly? And if you
open the export palette with ⇧⌘E does the HTML export option work
    from there?

    Hi Brett,
Both ⌘S and ⇧⌘E allow me to save as html, but the export as html is still greyed out in the file menu.

    Thanks,
    Michelle

Short of deleting your preferences, I'm not certain how to fix this. If
you want help with a reset, let me know, but I imagine the problem will
probably disappear randomly. I've never seen this nor had anyone else
report it, so I really don't have anything other than the nuclear
    option.

I would use ⌘S for now, but if you haven't rebooted in a while, that
might be an easy fix as well.

    Hi All,

has this problem been reported by anyone else? I have an identical issue

These two reports are the only ones I've ever received over the years,
and I still don't have any idea what would cause this. I imagine a
deletion of preferences or full reinstall would solve the issue, but
without being able to replicate it I can't be sure.
