// Please enter a detailed description of the issue // Description of the issue: Not sure it Marked2 deals with parens inside URL links properly.

// Please enter a list of steps required to reproduce the issue // Steps to reproduce:

  1. Url that looks like: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docker_(software)
  2. Rendered as: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Docker_(software))
  3. An extra parens shows at end. If I try to escape the parents in the link with backslash (), Ulysses for ex. doesn't like it, replaces it with %5C, which Marked2 then doesn't like and again renders as extra parens. Not sure of what I approach I need to take to handle this properly, or if Marked2 has an issue.

Attaching file since post rendered the text instead of showing it.

It only happens in the GFM processor, which might be a Marked issue but
would be directly related to the library included for that
functionality. You can work around it by using the percent encoded
    version of parens:

Thank you Brett, that encoding approach worked fine.
