I just bought Marked 2, with the Spelling/Grammar add-on.

I'm trying to enable proofing for my French markdown documents, but I do not see how to enable the proofing in French.

How do I switch the Proofing language from English to French?

Marked's spellcheck determines the language for each paragraph (so it
can check papers that have multiple languages). If it can't reliably
determine the language, it should fall back to the default language
setting for the computer. If it's not detecting French for you, let me
know, and provide a sample document so I can see if i can figure out
    what might be happening.

Thank you for your quick reply.

The default language of my machine is French. The document is written in French.

Please find enclosed a sample document.

Ok, it's showing up as detecting en_US for me as well. I'll need a bit
of time to solve this, I appreciate your patience.
