Marked 2 and Scrivener 3.0

Hi
I have been using Marked 2 together with Scrivener 2.0 for years and am very happy with this combination. Yesterday a new version of Scrivener was released, 3.0.
The problem now is that Marked 2 only shows the headings from the Scrivener file. First I thought that I just had to expand the text in Marked, but that was not the case. All the ordinary text is not shown.
After installation my Scrivener files needed to be upgraded to the new version. Is that an issue? Is Marked 2 compatible with Scrivener 3.0?

best regards

Per

There's a new version (2.5.11) in beta with Scrivener 3.0 compatibility.
I'll send a beta invite if you'd like to test.

Thanks a lot. I have now tried the beta, but I still cannot see all the text. Just the headlines when I check that Marked 2 should include the document titles as markdown header. Am I missing something?

I am working with the release version of Scrivener 3 and Marked is aware of the project -- I can see the spinner work when it's saved -- but the Marked document window stays completely empty on my system.

Erik, if you open a new test project (or even the tutorial project) does it work any differently for you?

Hi Brett, no it doesn't. It stays completely empty.

Could you verify that you're running the 2.5.11b in the about window?
And then, if you could zip and attach any project you're seeing fail,
I'd like to test and make sure it follows the same format I built
    against.

    Thanks,
    Brett

Actually, I'm using 2.5.10; it's the latest version according to the update dialogue.

Sorry, I didn't notice the beta thing in the thread above. Just pretend I never wrote anything. My apologies for taking up your time.

    I have done the following:
Made a file with one of the templates in Scrivener 3.0 (58).
Opened the file in Marked 2 Version 2.5.11β (936).
Still only the the headlines i.e. the names of the text in Binder is shown in Marked.
I attach the file if that helps.

Hi, I've the same problem with the combination of Scrivener3 and Marked2. Can you give an idea on what term the beta is expected to be available? Is there a place where I can download the beta in the meantime?

I'll either submit the update this weekend or offer a public beta by Monday.

@pergosterlie Your file opens fine for me in the beta (although the template variables aren't being filled in, which I'd hoped was working). When you have it open with just headlines showing, could you hit ⌘U and see if any of the text is actually there and just not displaying?

Also, go to Help->Report an Issue and copy the configuration summary in here so I can see if something is throwing it off.

When I hit ⌘U all I get is the headlines:

    Title Page

    Main Content

    Essay Body

    Test

    Notes

    Works Cited

and not the rest of the text.

I just downloaded Marked 2 to check out the trial for Cyber Monday and have hit the same issue. When opening a Scrivener 3.0 project I get a blank window in Marked 2.0. I'm more than happy to try the Beta if possible?

    Hi all!
I'm getting the same problem. I use MultiMarkdown and LaTeX in Scrivener. Marked 2 worked fine with Scrivener 2 but now it only shows a subset of the files in the folders as headers.
    Could I try the beta?
I'd like to contribute to solve the issue.
    Many thanks,

    Hi, Brett.

I rely heavily and Scrivener and Marked 2 for academic writing. Since I have upgraded to Scrivener 3 is there any chance I can get my hands on the Beta?

    Thank you!

FWIW I'm still having this issue with the beta. I tested it on both my own docs and the interactive tutorial that comes with Scrivener 3. Still no dice.

⌘U only gives the headlines. Here's my report:

I bought the Marked 2 app on the Mac App Store. The beta version asks me for registration of my serial number. I don't have one. Hence, I said free trial. It does not show the Scrivener 3 project. Can you guide? Also, send me the registration number and other details for registering Marked 2. I purchased it from the App store using my email id [email blocked]. A screenshot of the App store invoice is attached.
