Font in exported PDF is way too big

The font in the exported PDF is way too big and I cannot find an option to make it smaller.

The minimum value for the custom font size in the 'Export' tab is 9pt. That would sound reasonable, but the font in the exported PDF looks more like a 16/17pt, so that a couple of paragraphs and a small image fill up the whole page. If I export a DOCX instead, 17pt is indeed the font size MS Word displays.

Overriding the font-size with custom CSS affects only the preview window, not the exported document.

I just want to write a simple, one-page handout for school which is due on Thursday, and I'm stuck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Solved it by overriding this rule I found in your skeleton CSS:

    @media print {
        #wrapper {
            font-size: 85%;
        }
    }

    If there's a better way I'm still all ears!

    Another issue has arisen now: Marked ignores the overwrite above, which I have put in a custom CSS file. The only way I have to override that rule seems to be via the 'Additional CSS' option in the settings.

    Any idea why that's happening? I have pushed so many buttons that it could well be a misconfiguration from my part... but it's weird because the rest of my CSS is working.

    1. If you could include a sample doc, along with which theme you have
    selected (and a copy of the css if it's a custom theme), and the
    information from Help->Report an Issue, it would definitely save me time
    in tracking down the issue
    2. Do you have a default font size selected under Preferences->Export?
    3. Are you exporting continuous or paginated PDF?
