Double-clicking or selecting Open in the Finder on an .md file opens two Marked windows, each with a copy of the document.
Using "open x.md" from a Terminal gets the same behavior.

The file only shows up once in Marked's Open Recent menu.

I tried clearing the "Open with" registry using
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user but it did not help.

D Wtag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/439177802017-11-02T15:54:27Z2017-11-02T15:54:27ZUsing Finder open on .md files opens two Marked windows

This has been reported several times, but I haven't been able to replicate the issue on any machine yet, so I can't determine what might be causing it. If you could try deleting the preference file, I'd be curious to know if it helps. See this discussion:

I had a new problem with 10.13.1 (application-specific icons turning into a generic icon) that necessitated doing the following two actions:
executing /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed
and deleting any files named com.apple.dock.iconcache under /var/folders/.

I suspect that the lsregister might have fixed the Marked2 problem for me.

D Wtag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/439177802017-11-02T23:05:01Z2017-11-02T23:05:01ZUsing Finder open on .md files opens two Marked windows

Thanks for letting me know. I'll see if that helps anyone else!
