Unable to use Marked with Bear

When I try to preview Bear's document with Marked I'm getting the following message:

The open file operation failed.

I'm then prompted to grant access to /private/var/folders/dv/_3s540yd6qg3rlyhr2wbnq0m0000gn/T/net.shinyfrog.bear/BearTemp.zXfTfL/F80C3C20-F0A5-4A2C-B98B-98215690619A folder. After I grant access to Marked the preview functionality works properly until I terminate Marked. Next time I will try to preview Bear doc with Marked I will have to repeat that process again.

Is there a way to fix this?

Under Preferences->Advanced, have you clicked the Update Permissions
button? If that doesn't help, let me now and I'll transfer you over to
the direct (non-sandboxed) version of Marked.

Brett, would you mind doing the same for me. I'm having the same issues with the App Store version. I deleted it, and downloaded the trial from your site and it works fine... but need a license.

@vlaw, that looks like a different issue. Are you on High Sierra? I imagine you'll still need the crossgrade, which I'll send, but I'm curious if you're having an additional issue.

If the direct version is working for you, I'll leave this to figure out
    when I have a chance.

Sorry to join in, but also need a cross grade here, High Sierra and Marked from App Store just isn't working, even with the permissions update feature.

    Hi Brett,

Have the Mac AppStore version of Marked 2. Would like the cross-grade to work with Bear as well.
