This formula below displays correctly in https://stackedit.io/editor but not in Marked.

$$ f_{L}(X)=β{0}+β{1}X_{1}+β{2}X{2}+...β{p} X{p}. $$

Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks

PS. My advanced configuration:

{ tex2jax: { inlineMath: [["$","$"],["\(","\)"]], displayMath: [["$$","$$"],["\[","\]"]], processEscapes: true } }

    I'm afraid I know so little about LaTeX and MathJax equations that I'm unsure exactly how this is supposed to work. However, I am seeing that escaping the underscores helps with either the MMD or GitHub processor…

    $$ f\_{L}(X)=β\_{0}+β\_{1}X\_{1}+β\_{2}X\_{2}+...β\_{p} X\_{p}. $$

    In this case the Markdown processor isn't recognizing it as a math formula (because only the \\[ *formula* \\] syntax works at the processing point, so it's seeing emphasis tags and inserting <em>, breaking the MathJax rendering.

    Thank you! That was right!
