PDF Export Not Formatting Links Correctly

I'm attempting to export a markdown document as a PDF (either paginated or continuous, the problem remains), but the links are not behaving correctly. I'm using the standard [text](URL) syntax, and the HTML renders correctly, but what I end up with in the PDF Is text(URL), all wrapped in a clickable link.

I attached both an example source document and the resulting PDF output to illustrate the problem. I tried both processors, as well as my custom pandoc processor, all had the same result. Any ideas?

    Hi Connor,

In Preferences->Export, check in the top section to see that you don't
have "Include URL as text annotation" enabled.

So, it was checked, but I think I checked it in the process of trying to troubleshoot this issue. Unchecking it did not help, sadly.

That option is the only one that would cause the URL to be included. Are
you using a custom theme at all? If not, then something is likely
corrupt in your preference file, and trashing the current preferences
    may be the only solution.

To delete your preferences with the direct (non-MAS) version of Marked

    1. Quit Marked 2
    2. Delete the file at
    ~/Library/Preferences/com.brettterpstra.marked2.plist (and any other
files starting with com.brettterpstra.marked2). If you're not sure how
to access this folder, open Finder and press ⌘⇧G, then paste
"~/Library/Preferences" (without quotes) into the box.
    3. Reboot the computer (this is important as OS X aggressively caches
preferences and may just restore the deleted file without your
    4. Launch Marked 2
