like SO and GitHub do not conform to universal standards (though
commonmark as a custom processor likely would work). I can't
possibly implement every syntax difference in one processor, as
they're often in contradiction with each other. If you write
standard markdown, it works everywhere.</p>
<p>That said, go to preferences->processor and switch to
discount.</p>

new list? Because again, while stack overflow and commonmark may
have implemented that, it's not at all part of the standard. New
lists need a block element to end.</p>
