Marked doesn't seem to space between items in numbered lists, and it doesn't allow a numbered list to resume. These are in markdown as implemented on stackoverflow. When will you have them?

You have to understand that markdown as implemented in places like SO and GitHub do not conform to universal standards (though commonmark as a custom processor likely would work). I can't possibly implement every syntax difference in one processor, as they're often in contradiction with each other. If you write standard markdown, it works everywhere.

That said, go to preferences->processor and switch to discount.

Hi. Sadly, the numbered lists are still not restarting.

When you say restart, you mean you want a blank line to start a new list? Because again, while stack overflow and commonmark may have implemented that, it's not at all part of the standard. New lists need a block element to end.
