Very few available fonts contain a runic set, but if you have one,
a custom theme or override style can be used instead.

Thanks,

Is it possible your document is being saved with a non-UTF
encoding?

Bretttag:support.markedapp.com,2011-09-11:Comment/389797592016-01-21T22:28:40Z2016-01-21T22:28:40ZBad font rendering

Well that's fun: I've the issue on my iMac but not on my MacBook
Pro. The files are saved via iCloud so perfectly similar. So it
must be some strange setting in my iMac: not in Marked pref because
I checked. So your not guilty ;)

But how to figure out what happens will take me long I'm
afraid…

Thanks,
