Custom style (Academia) font face issue

When I upgraded to El Capitan the custom style Academia stopped displaying correctly (I don't know if the upgrade to 10.11 is coincidental or causal). Now all text appears as bold. I tried to adjust the css file but nothing seemed to work. I downloaded a new version of it, still with no effect (I have not tested all the other custom styles in any rigorous way).

The same thing happens regardless of whether I create the file using VoodooPad, MultiMarkdown Composer, Coda, or Textmate (in these latter three cases, I save the file as a .md file; with VoodooPad I create the page as a Markdown page).

I've attached a screenshot.

Finally, I've pasted in the report from the "Report an Issue."

Thanks for any suggestions.

Best,
Darin

Academia is a custom style by David Smith, I'd ask that you contact him
about changes he may have made that affect this. Let me know if he's
unable to help. His website is http://www.davidsmith.name
