Scrivener 3 and block figure support

I haven't used Marked 2 for quite a while so my memory of its support of Scrivener documents is a bit fuzzy.

With the Scrivener 3 beta I'm noticing there are several issues with rendering, and I've tried to make a robust test document but reproducibly triggering some of the issues has been challenging. Anyway the first issue I can reliably reproduce is to do with block figures (what pandoc calls implicit figures).

These often do not seem to get converted into <figure> elements. I attach a Scrivener 3 project. Using default MMD rendering in Marked all 3 figures fail to render. If I use Pandoc as a custom renderer only the first does. If I compile this Scrivener project then both MMD and Pandoc correctly convert all figures to implicit figures markup.

EDIT: the images themselves (scrivener links to embedded figures) do not show up, and I thought embedded images used to? Also the maths in that project looks screwy...

Hm, it seems I forgot to attach the test project, here it is...
